Milford House has just recieved on long term loan a pair of Tazzas. Formerly the property of H.R.H. The Princess Margaret Countess of Snowdon, Two Coalport bone china 'Royal Yacht Osborne' tazza, circa 1895 with polychrome painted floral swag decoration and blue and gilt borders, printed marks including crowned 'Royal Yacht', one retailed by Mortlock, the other by J.Whitman, Cowes. Sold with framed Christie's certificate of provenance and Christie's lot labels number 769, 14th June 2006. They had been sold in auction of the contents of her apartment in Kensington Palace.

Milford House is delighted to display these exceptional Royal Tazzas and the match items lost in Milford House 1930 auction. Visitors will be able to see them on display when property reopens.
