This is the only original surviving bathroom in the house. There were originally six bathrooms in the house each with a Turkish bath and jacuzzi. The bathrooms were supplied by Patterson of the Mall, Armagh City and are the one thing every past pupil of the Manor House School remembers about the house. Sadly the Manor House Special Care Hospital removed all the baths and sold them off. This bathroom was the only one to remain intact.
The space were the bath was originally had a bath on a platform and the bath had a canopy with water jetting our from the sides and from the base of the bath. The small washstand had a porcelain paste sink (now smashed) and a dark marble surround. The cupboard for towels also remains intact.
