In the time of the Manor House School this bedroom was Kincora Dormitory. The beds in the dormitory were only three footlong and they along with other bedroom furnishings came from H.M.S Hampshire a first world war Hospital school. This meant most girls had to curl up when sleeping in the beds as they were so short.

There is a false door in the bedroom corresponding with the door into the bathroom (no.28) to create the feeling of symmetry

The chimney breast in this room has been sealed up indicating (as in the previous bedroom) that the fireplace in this bedroom was removed during the time of the Manor House Special Care Hospital. There is no record of what the fireplace looked like in this bedroom.

Please note Milford House and its parkland are in private ownership. They are not owned by Milford Buildings Preservation Trust. There is no public access to the property which is currently one of the top twelve listed buildings at most serious risk in Northern Ireland
